We spent a week in Moruya over Christmas 2014 and spent every single day exploring the region. Broulee, Guerrilla Bay, Congo, Tuross Head, Batemans Bay.
We also caught up with our friends Rob and Rosie for a fantastic family day out on the Clyde River in Nelligen. As you can see the weather was lovely and the girls had some friends to swim and play around with. Hydrofoiling is a lot of fun and the looks you get from other skiers when you are high in the sky upside down are pretty cool. Charlotte loves sitting on Dad’s lap at slow speeds and hangs on to the handle like a pro.
The weather wasn’t so good over the first few days but the girls had a ball putting their rubber boots on and looking for the muddiest of puddles.
Our favourite spot has to be the Congo Inlet – perfect for kids to play in and for dad to go for a surf. There is also a national park campground right by the inlet that was packed.
We stayed at the BIG Moruya Heads Easts caravan park which had a fantastic pool.
