Guest post guidelines

If you believe you have a great story that could contribute to inspire Aussies to go and explore their own backyard, please read our guest posting policy below.

Topics we would like to see

• Family travel
• Authentic Australian stories about a region, a person
• Holidaying or roadtripping in a caravan in Australia

Content

• The content must read well and be original. It cannot be someone else’s content that you have adapted or paraphrased.
• The content must be based on your own experience and insights
• You need to use punctuation and paragraphs. It must read well

Guest post size

• Aim for approximately 1000 words – that would be approximately 65 lines.
• Paragraphs shouldn’t be longer than 3-4 sentences
• Use at least 4-10 photos – please provide source for each image and confirmation that you have permission to use them.
• Images should be 900 px wide, 72 dpi
• For each image please provide a caption. We may or may not use them.
• It would be great if you could format your post in Google Docs or WordPress directly  – Heading 2 should be used for the major headings and Heading 3 for the sub headings

What will you receive in return

• We will share your story with our audience
• Your post will be featured on the homepage our our site
• You can post 3 links to different pages on your website from within the post
• We will promote it via our social networks
• It will automatically be posted to our subscribers via automated RSS feed
• and most importantly, we are very grateful!
